Ourense University Campus - Hybrid, geothermal and aerothermal installation

Based on an energy audit commissioned by the promoter of the works on the Ferro building, it was concluded that the existing HVAC system was outdated, not presenting the required level of comfort or energy efficiency, therefore, this project aims to describe, calculate and design a new renewable hybrid thermal installation for the HVAC of the Ferro building, on the North Campus of the University of Vigo in the city of Ourense, which covers much of the energy demands of the building.

Centre for Bhutan studies - Hybrid system with PV panels and aerothermal heat pumps

8,624 km away, in far away Capital City Thimphu , in Majestic Bhutan , our truly hybridized solution was commissioned in the year 2019 by our Partners , S.A.P. Automations India Pvt Ltd for the Centre of Bhutan studies.

Ecoforest together with S.A.P. Automations India Pvt Ltd opted for a solution of 5 ecoGEO 25-100 kW and 5 drycoolers each of 100 kW for the collection system, the perfect solution without the need for geothermal boreholes and providing heating, cooling and DHW efficiently.

Buen Amor Castle - Hybridation of aerothermal and geothermal energy

The castle of Villanueva del Cañedo  (also known as the castle of Buen Amor) is located in the municipality of Topas, in the placeknown as Villanueva de Cañedo, a locality that no longer exists, in the province of Salamanca (Spain). It is a castle in Renaissancestyle and apparently contains remains from the 11th century, butthe actual construction dates from the 15th century. Historical figures such as Ferdinand of Aragon and Philip II areassociated with the castle.

The castle was declared a National Monument in 1931. Between1958 and 1960 it was restored by its current owners, the Fernández de Trocóniz family, who have converted the castle, since 18 July 2003, into a hotel with 41 luxury rooms.

Heat Pump and PV

This system located at Praia Azul in Torres Vedras demonstrates the full potential of the energy manager "E-manager" and its combination with the Ecoforest modulating heat pumps.

A heat pump with 1-9kW inverter technology produces all the heating, cooling and DHW for this 160m² house. Thanks to the E-manager, it is possible to use all the energy generated by the 1500W photovoltaic system, using the surplus electricity to produce thermal energy and store it in a 300L buffer tank.

Significant CO2 reductions in Horseshoe Lake

isoenergy has installed a number of heat pump systems for developments surrounding a carp fishing lake set within the Cotswold Water Park (UK). The aim was to come up with the best solution whilst ensuring low running costs and significant CO2 reductions.
